Fans of Family Guy
In 1999, Peter, Lois, Meg, Chris, Stewie and Brian Griffin made their debut on FOX network. The Griffins are the stars of "Family Guy," an this Emmy award winning animated television series created by Seth MacFarlane. The series survived two cancellations, one in 2000 and another in 2002, however both times, The Family Guy was resurrected by strong viewer outcry and DVD sales. Since then, there have been a total of five seasons, and two more seasons are scheduled for 2007 and 2008.
Peter Griffin is the show's leading man easily identified by his distinct nasally East Coast accent and bumbling ways. Other members of the family include Peter's wife, Lois, and their three children, Meg, Chris and Stewie. Stewie is perhaps one of the more popular characters, due to his diabolically evil ways and English accent. Throughout the series, Stewie is hell-bent on world domination and the knocking off of Lois. Stewie is often found in conversation with Brian, the family's pet dog, who is perhaps the most rational of the Griffins. Brian switches easily between human and canine, walking on two legs, then four...drinking martinis, and driving around in a Toyota Prius.
